In the afternoons parallel workshops of cognate societies will be held.
We intend to run at least one experimental and one theoretical/mathematical
session. More sessions may be timetabled, depending on numbers of abstracts
submitted.

- The experimental session(s) on gravitational wave detection will be run
jointly with the Australia Optical Society.
- The theoretical session(s) are to be held in celebration of Peter
Szekeres' contributions to relativity in the year of his 60th birthday.
Peter - who turns 60 in August, 2000 - is well-known for his
many significant contributions to many areas of relativity, including
singularity theory and the colliding gravitational wave solutions and
inhomogenous cosmological models which bear his name.
Anyone intending to come should fill out the
pre-registration form and MAKE SURE TO CHECK
THE ASGRG BOX. If you wish to give a talk in please fill in the
CALL FOR PAPER FORM (a PDF file).

PRESENTATION OF ABSTRACT
The abstract should be submitted by post or email in the following format:
- The abstract must be typed and be no more than one A4 page PLUS a typed
summary of no more than 100 words
- The title of the presentation, name of author/s, affiliation and State
should be left justified at the top of the page, thus:

- Please supply one hard copy and one copy on 3.5 inch disk (IBM or
Mac format) in Microsoft Word or Rich Text Format (.rtf). If the document
is emailed a disc is not required, however please ensure you receive
