Overview of module
This
module introduces the DVH panel, including dose statistics and
biological plan evaluation panels. The plan evaluation tools are
applied to competing treatment plans for a clinical case. This is followed by the
simulation of a DICOM transfer of the plan to an "imaginary" treatment linac and
the collection of information necessary to document a finished
treatment plan.
The challenge of this
module is to create a treatment plan for a clinical case of your choice. The
targets and organs are already contoured. Your task is
to complete all other steps in the treatment planning process, starting
with the planning itself and finishing with plan evaluation and
documentation.
