The
NTCP panel (normal tissue complication probability) consists of two
areas. In the top area the parameters required for the NTCP
models can be entered and modified.
These parameters are:
TD50 |
Dose
to a reference volume (in Gy) that would result in 50% complication
probability after 5 years |
n |
Parameter
describing the volume dependence |
m |
Parameter
describing the slope of the NTCP vs. dose |
Functions
of the different elements:
-
Read Param: Opens a list of organs
for which parameters sets are available. After selecting one organ the
according parameters can be loaded.
-
Write Param: Stores user defined
parameters.
-
Calc: When pressing this button the normal tissue complication
probability is calculated with the parameters specified on top. The
calculation is done for all selected plans, which are listed above.
